Celina Kalluk grew up in Resolute Bay, Nunavut.  Celina has been trained as a classical artist, but now does more work with her voice than with a brush. She is featured on several CDs produced in Nunavut, and has performed for audiences around the world, including the Queen in London. She is also author of the bestselling children’s book Sweetest Kulu. In addition to being an award-winning musician, Celina is a fluent Inuktitut speaker, and mother of four children.  Celina is an advocate of cultural and linguistic.  

Currently, she is the Inuktitut Language Specialist and Cultural Arts teacher for grades seven through twelve at Qarmartalik School in Resolute Bay, making her the perfect host and role model for this preschool program.
